The aim of this study was to examine the effect of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) on serum adiponectin levels and insulin resistance of women with type 2 diabetes. For this purpose, 35 overweight women with type 2 diabetes (age range 45-60 years, BMI 25-30 kg/m2) voluntarily participated in this study and were assigned to the HIIT training group (n=17) and control group (n=18). The HIIT group conducted their training on an ergometer for 8 weeks (3 sessions per week, 4-6 30-second repetitions with highest effort and 250% intensity with 4-min. rest intervals). The results of dependent t test showed a significant decrease in the mean scores of pretest and posttest of insulin resistance and body fat percentage in HIIT group and a significant increase in mean scores of serum adiponectin levels and maximal oxygen uptake (P<0.05). The analysis of covariance showed significant differences between training and control groups in levels of adiponectin (F=3.21, P=0.026), insulin resistance (F=5.28, P=0.007) and fat percentage (F=2.60, P=0.041). Weight and body mass index of participants did not change significantly (P>0.05). It may be noted that 8 weeks of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) with no changes in weight and body mass index could have positive effects on insulin resistance, fat percentage and adiponectin levels in women with type 2 diabetes.}, keywords = {Adiponectin,insulin resistance,Training,type 2 diabetes}, title_fa = {اثر هشت هفته تمرینات تناوبی با شدت بالا (HIIT) بر سطوح آدیپونکتین سرمی و مقاومت به انسولین زنان دیابتی نوع دو}, abstract_fa = {  دیابت، اختلال متابولیکی است که به‌وسیلۀ هیپرگلیسمی به‌دنبال نقص در ترشح انسولین، مقاومت به انسولین یا هر دو مشخص می‌شود. هدف از این مطالعه بررسی اثر تمرینات تناوبی با شدت بالا (HIIT) بر سطوح آدیپونکتین سرمی و مقاومت به انسولین زنان دیابتی نوع دو بود. به همین منظور 35 نفر از زنان دیابتی نوع دو دارای اضافه‌وزن (BMI بین 30-25 کیلوگرم بر متر مربع) با دامنۀ سنی 45 تا 60 سال داوطلبانه در تحقیق حاضر شدند و در دو گروه تمرین HIIT (17n=) و کنترل (18n=) قرار گرفتند. گروه HIIT به مدت هشت هفته (سه جلسه در هفته، 6-4 تکرار 30 ثانیه‌ای با حداکثر تلاش با شدت 250 درصد و استراحت 4 دقیقه‌ای بین تکرارها) تمرینات چرخ کارسنج را انجام دادند. نتایج تی وابسته نشان داد بین میانگین دادههای پیش‌آزمون و پس‌آزمون مقاومت به انسولین و درصد چربی بدن گروه HIIT کاهش معنادار و بین میانگین سطوح آدیپونکتین سرمی و حداکثر اکسیژن مصرفی افزایش معناداری مشاهده شد (05/0P<). همچنین نتایج تحلیل کوواریانس تفاوت معناداری را بین گروههای تمرینی در میزان آدیپونکتین (026/0P= و 21/3F=)، مقاومت به انسولین (007/0P= و 28/5F=) و درصد چربی (041/0P= و 60/2F=) نسبت به گروه کنترل نشان داد. از طرفی میزان وزن و شاخص تودۀ بدنی آزمودنی‌ها تغییر معناداری نداشت (05/0< P). احتمالاً می‌توان گفت که انجام هشت هفته تمرینات سرعتی شدید (HIIT) بدون تغییر در مقدار وزن و شاخص تودۀ بدنی می‌تواند تأثیرات مثبتی بر مقاومت به انسولین، درصد چربی و سطوح آدیپونکتین زنان مبتلا به دیابت نوع دو داشته باشد.}, keywords_fa = {آدیپونکتین,دیابت نوع دو,مقاومت به انسولین,ورزش}, url = {https://jsb.ut.ac.ir/article_59507.html}, eprint = {https://jsb.ut.ac.ir/article_59507_403f7c2cd18d67791b959573bfb619e0.pdf} }
